Overview of the deluxe marking wheel holder
The deluxe marking wheel holder has a knuckle joint so that the cutting wheel can be adjusted independent of the scriber.
It does the same job as the marking wheel holder but has more versatility allowing the angle of the cutting wheel to be easily changed independant from scriber.
Scoring a line on the work piece gives a definite datum point and as long as you cut accurately to that scored line your fit will be better than cutting to a pencil line.
A Veritas marking wheel is used (one wheel is supplied with the holder) which can be replaced when worn out or damaged.
Replacement marking wheels can be purchased from Axminster power tools in the UK and many outlets in the US and Canada (SKU: 05N35.11).
The deluxe marking wheel holder works in conjunction with the 2 in 1 FB Scriber but it can also be purchased seperately to use with other scribers.
