The chair makers marking wheel Holder is designed to score a line around the legs of furniture to give a definite reference point to cut to for levelling. This is a very accurate way of marking legs and guarantees that your piece of furniture won’t rock.
It can also be used for site installations instead of using a pencil giving a definite incised line to work to. This is more accurate than working to a pencil line and has the added bonus of preventing tear out whilst jigsawing.
To tighten the hinge you need an allen key (provided) and a 7mm ring spanner.

When the legs are very acute the lock nut can get in the way. You can take the nut off and use a shortened bolt. You can then mark around legs up to a 60 degree angle keeping the marking wheel horizontal.
