Centre Finder
Overview of the Centre Finder
The centre finder bolts onto the wide end of the deluxe bearing fence.
There are 4 bearings provided which can be set in the outer position for stock
upto 2″ wide or the inner position for stock upto 1″ wide.
Spacers are provided to alter the distance between the bearings
depending on the thickness of the work piece.
The centre finder can be used as a wide bearing fence, and when bolted
on upside down it becomes a longer straight fence.
When using the centre finder rather than trying to get the pencil
exactly centre to the work piece as long as you are fairly close to centre you can
mark a line from both edges creating a tramline which you can split accurately by eye.
Please note to use the centre finder you need to purchase the deluxe bearing fence.
