Marking Gauge Block with aluminium beam
You can machine your own wooden beams to use with the marking gauge block or purchase an aluminium beam ready to use.
The aluminium beam is designed to hold the fb and deluxe fb scriber bodies.
The aluminium beam sits in the 1″ slot on the block.
Using the aluminium beam with the marking gauge block in panel gauge mode.
The beams comes in 2 lengths, 325mm and 475mm.
They are designed to be bolted together to give more length.
If you would like use the versatility of the aluminium beam in the 20mm slot you can bolt the aluminium beam onto the end of a wooden beam (you need to reduce the width to 19mm).
