The Marking Gauge block is a versatile aluminium marking tool which has multiple functions.
It can be used as a marking/panel gauge running on a straight or curved edge.
A height gauge for marking vertical surfaces.
A depth gauge (for measuring the depth of a hole for example).
The pivoting part of a beam compass allowing you to make a compass to your own requirements.
A transfer tool (for quickly drawing a line parallel to an edge).
The block can be used in a number of configurations using wooden or aluminium beams or a combination of both.
