Overview of the Fat and Skinny Boy Scribers

The fat and skinny boy scribers are ideal for scribing work tops, infill panels etc and with the profile attachment fitted you can scribe mouldings and brick work.

The fat boy is 64mm x 25.4mm, the skinny boy is 64mm x 19mm. Both boys are available in a variety of colours.

With a shortened pencil these scribers fit in the palm of the hand and can get into awkward places.

The tightening thumbscrew is spaced away from the body of the scriber to make it easier to grip. When tightened the scriber won’t move in use.

The over and under fat and skinny boy scribers can be inverted so that the pencil is below the pivot point. Particularly useful in conjunction with the profile attachment.

If you are unsure of which scriber to purchase the standard fat and skinny boys are a great introduction to the range.

Your tooley park scriber will likely become your “go to” scriber and like many you might be back to the shop to add another one to your tool kit.

The fat boy scriber has its own chapter dedicated to it in the “The Stick Chair Journal” written by Christopher Schwarz.

The fat boy is also featured in the Anachist’s Gift Guide 2022.

The Versatile Scriber

The tooley park scriber is a great tool to have in the workshop as well as on site.
